dailyoutfit 12.29.13scarf_purple floweredNow that I bike or walk to work, skirts aren’t convenient or comfortable.  Though I often find them more interesting than jeans, I like ease.  Biking to work in sweatpants and changing into a skirt and tights is not easy!  So this season’s challenge is to wear more denim, keeping it varied and interesting but still minimal.

This time last year: October 16, 17, 18.  Thanks for reading!

I don’t wear skirts at all – as in, I don’t even own any. For summer, I find maxi dresses work much better anyway, and in winter I just live in jeans. Denim works so well for just about everything except for really formal, and the world is going more casual, so I find it just fits everything I want to do.

I don’t know if I’ve commented on that coral top before, but it’s really nice 🙂

Thanks, Lee! And you’re right about denim – it’s so versatile and comfortable. I love color though (I think we have that in common!) so I’m in the market for some colored pants, maybe lavender or russet. I’m keeping my eyes out at second-hand stores….
